A massive downturn in Britain has blew up the flood warning today - Hurricane Ernesto is just a few days before batting in parts of the UK.

The Environment Agency has issued flood warnings in the south of England and the local people are told to be "ready" for the flood.

It comes in the form of a sub-tropical storm that is currently tearing through the Atlantic, which is ready to split Britain when the tail finally comes in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Until it reaches the UK, it will no longer be classified as storm, although it will still bring 30 miles per hour and an inch of rain.

It will batter the parts of Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and parts of southwest England - while others will be in the 26th sunshine this weekend.

But the Environment Agency urged Swindon to "stay safe" because there is a danger of flood in this afternoon.
As an increase in water levels, Swindon, Alert was issued to Willets near Coal and Dorcan Brook River.

It was said: "Today's level is expected to continue and flood of low land and flood is expected today.

"Stay safe and be aware of your local surroundings, floodwater can flow deeper and faster."
Northern Ireland, Scotland and West England are likely to feel the effects of hurricanes this weekend, which can be upgraded later in the storm.

However, people in the south will enter the sunshine on Saturday with the 26th forecast for the London area.

The Meteorological Department said today that when Hurricane Ernesto hits Britain on Sunday in the early hours of the morning, it will no longer be classified as storm and will bring rain and strong winds instead.

Ernesto was formed in the North Atlantic near the eastern coast of America on Tuesday and is spreading over 40 miles per hour across the sea.
The storm will bring "a little bit of uncertainty" in the UK but heavy rain and strong winds are likely to be battling the northern and western parts of the country.

Bonnie Diamond told a Forecaster at Mate Office Sun Online: "The tropical storm on Saturday is uncertain due to Ernesto.

"Northern Ireland, Wales, North West and Southwest England will have a slight wind and a band of rain.

"It's coming from the Atlantic and the main band of rain does not come to the early hours of Sunday morning - most of us will go to sleep.

But till it comes, it will not be a storm now and we do not have any warning at this time. "

On Saturday, London could see the highest of 26c, while Glasgow is likely to see 17C and Belfast will have a high 19 experience.

Bonnie said: "On Sundays this will generally be dry and bright in the south east, while there will be heavy rain in Northern Ireland, Scotland and the southwest.

"Heavy rains of storm Ernesto will be removed during the early hours of Sunday and will be clear by noon.

"Sunday is expected to reach 24C in the London area, Glasgow is expected to reach 19c and Belfast 20c in Belfast.

"There may be some sharp rains in Western Wales and Northern Ireland."

Accu weather storm expert Dan Kottlowski, says Ernesto has some capacity to further strengthen in the next 24 hours and has become completely tropical before breaking.

He said: "Despite the development, the system stays far from the ground and there should be no threat to land for at least the next few days."
